All full time students taking 12 credit hours or more are required to have health insurance. Students who have their own health insurance can opt out of the insurance provided through the college through the following link:
https://consolidatedhealthplan.com/group/82/waiver/1
Students who do not have their own insurance will be automatically enrolled into the school's insurance plan and charges will be applied to their student account.
The insurance plan covers from August 13, 2012 and ends August 12. 2013. Though we are waiting for final approval, the cost will be approximately $2,000 for the annual plan. We have experienced an increase in the premium due to requirements related to Health Reform. This has also greatly increased our benefits that will be very helpful to our students. More informatoin will be available soon.

Hi. I just want to ask everyone. Is it affordable to get the health insurance from outside or within the campus?

Is your question as to which is MORE affordable?
