I have read that you are supposed to directly mail in something to decline the acceptance to the college, how do I do this?

You must submit in writing, so mail or email. Be sure to include your full name and birthdate and state your intention. In this case it would be that you are attending another college. If you choose to email you can send it to: admissions@buffalostate.edu.
