Only bank around seems to be NCBC if i recall correctly, or ncbc something like that. In the student union building(cenetral location on campus) theres an ATM without surchages though, so it isnt a big deal. Best bet would be to contact your bank and ask them about buffalo branches.

There is a lot of banks in Buffalo. I don't believe the bank you are looking for is there (i'm not totally sure because I use another bank) but you could call the company and ask if there is any branches in buffalo. There is an ATM for HSBC bank without a surcharge (there is a lot of HSBC banks in buffalo) and I think Citibank but you can get money out of that ATM just with a surcharge. Both are in the student union. Hope this helps!

is there perhaps an M&T atm on campus?

I'm pretty sure i saw an M&T ATM on campus in the Student Union right next to the HSBC ATM

m&t recently bought all of the buffalo area citibank locations (or so says the m&t website), so i'm guessing m&t will be all over buffalo as well.

I opened an HSBC account after I decided on what school I would be attending. I have no qualms so far, and I even took out my College loan through them. Sinces theres an ATM on Campus.. and a Full branch right up Elmwood, I am sure it will be convenient.

Yeah, I opened a Citizen's Bank debit card before I realized that there isn't a free ATM on campus for that. And the closest branch is a mile or so away. Oh well...

Are you able to close it? I don't think everytime you want to go to an atm you get charged that $1.50 (or whatever it is up there).

Hi i recently just set up an HSBC account because i heard there's several branches located near there. However i need to collect the cards and now I'm lost because i do not know which is the nearest HSBC branch near UB.

Can someone tell me the 1) exact location for the nearest HSBC bank branch?

2) how to get there by public transport...

Well if you are looking for a branch near UB i haven't a clue as this message board happens to be for buffalo state... however if you simply made an error and meant buffalo state there is a branch right on elmwood and you can take the 20 bus right up elmwood from school
