hey! i wasn't sure where to post this question so on here seemed like a good place. I was wondering if there was a girls rugby team or a girls floor hockey team? are they clubs and how do they pick their mates? and when?

There is a girls rugby team, it is a club not an official team support by Buffalo State. There also is a girls ice hockey team which is supported, but no floor hockey. You might also like the intramural sports league, which is supported by Buffalo State and it cycles through all different sports throughout the year, usually single elimination or weekly tournaments where you make your own team to compete against other teams. If you want to join a Buffalo State team you can email the coach and try out.

I swear I remember reading something about intramural floor hockey somewhere. I could be mistaken, but I hope not as I wanted to play some floor hockey too. It would sure make sense at least considering Buffalo is the City of Hockey.

The girls' rugby team usually has a table in the union at the beginning of the semester for sign ups. Everyone makes the team and from what I have seen, it is a great and very inclusive group!

I'd definitely play an intramural just cause it's very demanding to be in a BS sponsored team.
