Just to let everyone know, the orientation sign up process (at least for transfer students) is REALLY clunky. The online form in Banner could use a bit of an update for sure. Although not a big problem, it is weird that the form does not automatically fill in costs for you. You have to fill in the totals yourself, "$60.00"
I also have run into problems filling in my email address in a couple Banner surveys. When I got to the review part for some reason part of another field (the $0.00 cost for me not bringing any family to orientation) had replaced the @ in my email.
It is also a bit clunky that to pay with a credit card you cannot do so within the survey, you have to do it separately via the orientation website and paypal.
Just thought I would give my two cents and point out some flaws with the system. I don't know if anybody else thinks it is a little clunky, but I am pretty good with computers and still found it awkward.
I am definitely emailing their office tomorrow to make sure everything worked ok.
