Hi...my daughter has not used up all her meal plan monies and I understand that it doesn't roll over to the next semester, so can she put her unused monies in her personal account?

Do not pay for meal plan if possible. Ive gone to buffalo state for four years and in that time there has been very few edible meals let alone afforadable. They go through a company called sodexho and they offer very very very cheap food for a ridiculous price and for freshman meal plans they are require to pay the lunch and dinner everyday and if you do not use the money than they keep it there is no credit or anything. So if you do not use your $8 lunch or $15 dinner then they just keep the money for themselves.. it is unfair and wrong. So avoid any meal plans if at all possible there are plenty of restaurants and fast food place that will deliver and FRESH tastier meal for half the price located all around buffalo state college. They wasted so much money on fixing how the dining hall looks rather than focusing on providing healthy affordable meals to broke COLLEGE Students. Sorry to dissapoint

No, your daughter cannot move the funds from her meal plan to a different account. Unfortunately this happens to a great many students and they wind up going on spending sprees as the semester ends to use up their money.
