I am an international student from India and am currently in my 12th Grade and will finish the same by June 2011. I have taken my SAT last may with the following scores:

Critical Reading-540
Writing-540
MAth-680
Total 1760
I am taking SAT again on Nov.6 to improve my scores further. My question is as follows:
1. Are my SAT scores good enough for admission to Engineering school
2. Given my critical reading score, am i exempt from taking the TOEFL
3. What are my chances of admission for the FAll2011. I have the transcripts of my school results for 9th and 11 grade and also the public exam results of 10th grade. 12th grade will be out only during june 2011. can i seek admission now.
Thanks
Arvind

Hi there,
Our average applicant has about a 1000 on their SATs on the first two parts, Critical Reading and Math. We do not look at the Writing portion for Admission. With a score of around 1000 on your SATs we would also look for a high school average in the high 80's. We will need to see official high school transcripts from 9-11 grades. As for your question regarding TOEFL and if you are exempt, please contact our office at: 716-878-4017 and ask to speak to an International Admissions Counselor. They will be able to assist you with TOEFL information.
