Has anyone from nyc or long island found a good pizza place near the campus? The pizza is just awful heat lamped crap. I would love to find a decent pizza place, not expecting what i get back home, but something edible.
Also any bagel places around? It's a sweater!

I have yet to see a good pizza place in this region of New York. In the city, there's a lot of sauce and less cheese but in the Buffalo area, the pizza has a lot of cheese but less sauce. Come on, need to combine the two and it would be the best pizza. Still nothing beats NYC with pizza.

How close is this shop from BSC? If the food in the cafe is crap... pizza (and chicken) will be my food of choice

If you have a friend locally in Hamburg or Clarence, gotta get them to bring you a pizza from Bozanna's or Pizza Junction. Loads of sauce, cheese, pepperoni, whatever you want the pizza is like a brick, it's great.

Great, now what about the best place(s) for wings/ After all, Buffalo is the birthplace of buffalo wings, right? La Nova has decent wings, Duff's has really good wings (they're located on millersport and sheridan which is pretty far if you dont have a car). the one place you MUST go for wings is the Anchor Bar downtown. this is where the buffalo wing originated from. http://www.anchorbar.com/ |

Yeah, for pizza go to Joes. For Wings, go up the block to Bennys; It's ridiculously cheap.
