Hey guys,
I am transferring up to Buff State from community college and I was wondering more about suites. On my campus tour I saw a normal dorm but did not get to see a suite. How do they compare? What is the layout like? I noticed the dorm was kind of dingy, are the suites nicer? Of course the best thing would be pics or maps, but even a good description from someone living in one would be great. |

A lot of the dorms have been recently renovated, so they should not be as dingy as the freshmen dorms that you probably saw. I lived in the North Wing my freshman year, which has suites for international and honors students, as well as some sports teams. My suite had four bedrooms (two people per bedroom), a common area, and a bathroom. There is definitely some more privacy than in a regular dorm, so I would highly recommend it if you have the option.
The Residence Life website has information on your options and some details about the different dorm buildings: http://www.buffalostate.edu/residencelife/x539.xml For pictures, check out the virtual tour: http://wwwu.buffalostate.edu/tour/tours/vi...s=moore-complex http://wwwu.buffalostate.edu/tour/tours/vi...ajaquada-towers You can also see a lot on the Buff State Blog videos, like this one, on the Buffalo State youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/officialbuffalostat...9/0/yywiB7hpGKg Finally, the new apartment style housing will be opening next semester - you can get information on that at the following link: http://www.buffalostate.edu/residencelife/x724.xml |
