Changing my major Options

Hi, I wanted to know how I can change my major if I applied, as a transfer student, to the Communication Studies program? I want to change it to Public Communications.

Once you are on campus, you would just go to the Communication department and they will have paperwork there to change your major.

If you've been newly accepted into the Comm program, or you have just applied (with no decision yet), you need to put something in writing either by email or by mail requesting the major change. You can email Admissions at: admissions@buffalostate.edu or mail to: 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Moot Hall 110, Buffalo, NY 14222. Your application will then be re-reviewed for public communication.

If you have already started as a student at BSC, then you will want to pick up a change of major form at the Registrar's Office and follow the directions.
