Just wondering how many parents are aware that this school does not have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to underage drinking. The RA's apparently tell the students to close their doors so they don't have to deal with it. This makes it very difficult for students who are trying to avoid that whole scene to do so. As parents, we need to encourage the school to enforce the law and make the dorms safe for all.

that is not true for all RA's. Yes there are RA's who dont really care and have a dont ask, dont tell policy, and there are also RA's who are strict with the rules. When i started at buffalo state as a transfer student, all the transfer students were put into a freshman building (dry building), and even though almost everyone on the floor was over 21, a lot of people got written up for drinking in their rooms.
