Buffalo State will again offer high-risk students the H1 N1 influenza vaccine on Wednesday, November 4th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Student Union Social Hall. High-risk individuals are:

· Students with high risk medical conditions, including asthma.

· Students with children under the age of 6 months.

· Students, ages 18-24.

· Pregnant women who have a note from their doctor requesting the vaccine be given.

All students will be able to obtain the H1N1 vaccine on Friday, November 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor lobby of the Sports Complex. This clinic will be open to all currently enrolled Buffalo State students.

Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself from this potentially serious disease and students are encouraged to get vaccinated -- especially those with asthma or other underlying medical conditions. Further information about the H1N1 epidemic and the vaccine can be found at the Weigel Health Center website, http://www.buffalostate.edu/weigel/x1935.xml and at www.cdc.gov.
