I am wondering if there is any way to have a failing grade removed from my transcript? I have since retaken and passed the course (non-major course, if that matters), and the reason for the failure was extenuating circumstances/severe financial hardship. Is there any way to appeal the appearance of this grade on my transcript and have it fully removed? I am going to begin applying to law schools, and the presence of a failing grade on my transcript will lower my LSAC GPA, even though I have retaken the course.

Please let me know what my options are, if any.

Thanks.
