I am looking to transfer for spring 2010.I am a out of state, and I will have 24 credits at the end of the fall semester, but when sending in my application in september i will only have 12, would that make me a freshmen or transfer. Would i have to send in my h.s. transcripts? Also, would you be looking at my college transcripts for admission, or both? Finally, would i not know about being admitted until my fall 2009 grades are submitted at the end of the semester?

I think it would be a good idea to call the campus and ask them. The phone number is (716) 878-4017 and they are there Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Thursdays the hours are longer, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Hi There, If you are applying before you have 24 college credit hours, you will need to send in your hs transcript as well. You would be a transfer student, as you have taken college courses post hs graduation. We will look at both transcripts, but concentrate on your college work. If we would like to wait to make the decision until your final semester grades are submitted, you will be notified by mail. Transfer information can be found here: http://www.buffalostate.edu/admissions/transfer.xml. Sincerely your Buffalo State Admissions Counselor

If your credits are transfered over as well as the Supplemental letter and application is mailed in to Buffalo State and recieved. How long will I have to wait to recieve a Response on whether or not I got accepted. I know its pretty early for Spring10, just want to be on top of things.
