If I remember correctly there was a bill in USG that was passed talking about the freshman with cars..I don't think they can bring them but ask residekce life to be sure. As for new parking, I had no idea that would really be great for those of us that want to bring cars back but would have to fight with commuter students for parking

As for new parking, I had no idea that would really be great for those of us that want to bring cars back but would have to fight with commuter students for parking actually, the issue is usually the commuters fighting for space with the resident students. the residents can park at night when the commuters aren't there and take all the best parking spots. |

alright im still confused can you bring a car if your a freshmen? If you are a freshman dorming on campus you may not register your car on campus and you may not keep your car on campus. Since you can not register or keep your there are there places near by where you can keep your car and it will not be towed or ticketed?

Wow it is interesting that this post is from over three years ago and this hypothetical parking garage still does not exist!
Freshmen who dorm cannot have cars on campus. Apparently if you need it for a job and provide a note from your employer you can get a parking pass though. If you are a freshman who commutes you obviously can get a parking pass. It is all explained here: http://www.buffalostate.edu/freshmenparking.xml |

Another update on the parking situation:
In September 2011, the college announced a new report done regarding parking at Buffalo State and are looking for recommendations/feedback from US. You can review the full report here: There is also an article in The Record that is a good summary of this report that you can see here: http://www.facebook.com/notes/the-buffalo-...150366843479728 If parking on campus is something that concerns you, you can email your feedback on this report and ideas about parking to to vpfm@buffalostate.edu by Friday, October 28, 2011! |
