Our daughter just got accepted to Buff State in the Fashion and Textile Program and will start in the Fall 07 Semester. I'm already a nervous wreck about letting her leave "the nest" and I wondering how many other parents are in the same boat who might want to start a parent forum to discuss concerns, tips, info about classes, professors, computers, living arrangements, etc. etc.

I just think that the more I can talk to other parents the better prepared I will be to let our daughter go and know we've done everything possible to help her be successful at Buff State.

Let me know if you are interested! sad.gif sad.gif

Hi Fellow Parents,

My daughter is a transfer student. She did her first two years here in NYC, so she was near by. Now with her being 6-7 hour drive away all the fears are in full effect....lol.

First I would like to know if there is anyone else who lives here in NYC, I am in the Bronx. I ask because I am interested in finding out ideas on moving her up there and storage info during breaks.

She is 22 and has some plans on having her friends take her up.....dont think that will happen cool.gif .

Also, I would like to maybe find travel compaions for her and or me when going up to see her or when she is coming back to the city. But I would just like to get involved with any parent groups and be informed.

I look forward to talking to you fellow parents and maybe meeting up.

Catch you guys later.

Linda
