Our daughter just got accepted to Buff State in the Fashion and Textile Program and will start in the Fall 07 Semester. I'm already a nervous wreck about letting her leave "the nest" and I wondering how many other parents are in the same boat who might want to start a parent forum to discuss concerns, tips, info about classes, professors, computers, living arrangements, etc. etc.

I just think that the more I can talk to other parents the better prepared I will be to let our daughter go and know we've done everything possible to help her be successful at Buff State.

Let me know if you are interested! sad.gif sad.gif

My daughter was also just recently accepted to the Fashion & Textile Program for the Fall of 07. She is not convinced she wants to go all the way to Buffalo (we live down state). We are waiting to hear from another SUNY school that also offers the 3-1 program. I have an older daughter who is a junior in college so this isn't a new experience for us. I'd love to be part of the group. I'm hoping that my daughter will be happy where ever she goes. She is just so STRESSED right now, grades, waiting to hear about acceptances, friends being catty... it's a lot of pressure.

I know what we did for my oldest daughter in terms of computers, etc. but this daughter is different and I'm interested in hearing about rooming/housing suggestions. blink.gif
