You cannot get credit for the same course twice unless the course is listed as repeatable in the college catalog. Make sure you have neither received nor will receive, transfer credit for a course for which you are about to register. You cannot repeat a Buffalo State course in which you earned a grade of C or higher.

Steps you should take:

Work with your academic advisor.
Review your Degree Navigator audit report to be certain that your registered courses are being counted toward your degree. Do this as soon as you register and again before drop/add is over.
