Hello. I'm doing my best to get ready for college but there are several things I am not sure about.
I recieved health forms and things along those lines that I must have filled out, however have not ready anything regarding a physical. I had previously been under the impression that getting a physical was a requirement before entering college. Do I need one? I'm also not sure how to go about getting a student loan... This may be covered at Orientation but I'm not sure and I'm worried that if I wait, it will be too late. I talked to my bank (Credit Union) about it and they did not offer them. They said student loans were attained through the college. Can anyone explain how I get one? Last Question: I was awarded a Presidential Scholarship by BSC for my grades in Highschool. Is there anything I have to do to make sure that I recieve this scholarship, so that it is deducted from my overall college costs? I appreciate any help that you can offer. |

I'ma freshman also and I share many of the same questions as you. But I do know that to receive any kind of scholarship you need to fill out your Fafsa, no matter what. Do you have that done? Please make sure you do.

In order to qualify for a student loan you need to apply for financial aid. Please contact the financial aid office at 878-4902 for assistance. Congrats on your Presidential scholarship! The award will be deducted from your bill.
Hope this helps- Sincerely your Buffalo State Admissions Counselor
