Here, take a look at this page.
http://www.us.playstation.com/support.aspx...3907.html&print

It shows the ports that some games use, I'll try to provide as much info as I can.

BTW, when I ried to connect this morning it gave me this error
"Network Error (610)
Connection to the DNAS server failed."

What is your real name / username?  Do I have your PS2's MAC address already?  I will need that in order to get it to work.

I sent you my XB's mac address before i got to school, and 2x since.
Still was a no go...
so something is still wicked funky.

Write a script on a server that tunnels bandwidth from there. This way you'd be making the packet shaper think its coming from a local server on campus but really from the outside. The packet shaper does not control local bandwidth.

I think we'd probably prefer that you didn't do that.

Here's an update.
Ok, I can now get past the DNAS screen, but I cannot connect to any servers. I can't get onto gamespy or EA servers, Those are the only ones I was able to try.

I'm using TonyHawk American Wasteland to test my online capabilites. I can get connected to the master server and download content like parks and created skaters. I cannot however, connect to Gamespy to "play" the game. Also, when playing an EA sports game I cant connect to the EA servers. You guys enabled the PS2 to get online, now you have to unblock or whatever The individual company servers, Gamespy and EA are known already, I'll list more as I try more games.

I have made a discovery today,
this will only be relevent to those of us that play pc games (I think) so far.

So a while back, we had a thread started becasue we had an AIM connection issue.
everyone was pissed.
but carissa who uses trillian like I do, stated that we can switch what ports aim uses.
where is this going? listen up.
I was able to direct connect at the port that trillian was defaulted as.
5190.
I was trying to figure out what to do with this.
Warcraft 3 has to use ports through 4900 and 11246 (think thats the numbers).
So I switched to that port and turned off windows' firewall (but had norton running in the back) and was able to connect.

test some ports on AIM first and connect using that port later I assume.
but thats the best bet so far....
and I dont even work at residence life...
WOOT!

Hey, is there any way to use the Nintendo DS WiFi connection here?

This is a test page from Nintendo that gives us an error

http://www.nintendowifi.com/troubleshooting/NetworkTest.jsp

The error has something to do with a NAT connection

Is there a way to fix this problem? Or are we just not allowed to do anything about it like everything else?

Not sure what you mean by "like everything else."

Where are you trying to connect to a wireless access point?

Perhaps there are no other Nintendo DS systems in range of each other.

The DS has wi-fi but it does not go over the Internet so it will not use the 802.11B school network. It is a proprietary wi-fi system by Nintendo between systems for multiplayer use.
