My daughter is 19 - but will be a Junior Art Ed major and knows no one - not sure which tower she should check on the form. |

Did you get any info on which tower would be best? My daughter is 19 - but will be a Junior Art Ed major and knows no one - not sure which tower she should check on the form. Me and my roommate Brittany (that I talked about earlier) are in the same situation, we will not know anyone and are transferring from community colleges. I emailed reslife and they told me that the towers are the same, and you will be placed wherever there is room. So, I guess I am just going to check them all.. However, if you look at this link, http://www.buffalostate.edu/admissions/residencehalls.xml it states the differences in each tower, when I brought this to the attention of reslife in the email they said it was wrong. So again, I am just going to check each tower that way I will at least get in one before they fill up. |

I haven't been in the towers personally but i hear tower 3 and 4 are the best because they have carpeting and tower 3 is being renovated this summer. I'm going to be in tower 4 next year though.

Do you think the bedrooms have enough room for two people? I wasn't able to find good pictures anywhere to see what the layout of the suite is. |

I was in a suite in Tower 4 this past semester. I took pictures as I was getting ready to leave to go back home. I took some of my suite area and my room. I'll get the pictures uploaded within the next day or two.

Okay, so here's the pictures. I was in room C, and the rooms differ in layout. (you and your roommate can rearrange your room, just remember to move everything back to how it was by the time you check out).
This one is how the room looks from the window. Picture One: Clickkkk This is one side of the room. Picture Two: Clickkkk And this is the other side. Picture Three: Clickkkk This is the common area. (Don't mind all the junk, lol.) Picture Four: Clickkkk This is another angle of the common area. Picture Five: Clickkkk Hope this helps. |

Hello xjenna389! I don't mean to hijack your post but I was wondering the same and also had a few other questions.
I'm starting to think about college now. I've had a little time off from school and got some money saved up. I'm working on a plan (manage budget, time, work, family stuff, etc..) and would like to know what some of the current students are experiencing for cost of living. Can a few of of the current students post some rough ideas of monthly cost and extras I should plan on? I don't want you to go into too much details but some general ideas would be nice. Thanks For believe me, in this world which is ever slipping from under our feet, it is the prerogative of friendship to grow old with one's friends. - Arthur S. Hardy :)
