Hello, I am starting college this fall at my local community college and now my husband wants to go back as well. The only college that has both of our programs is Buffalo State, but since we are not in Buffalo right now, I have no idea where we could live.
We have 4 cats. Does anyone know of any apartments that would allow 4 cats? They are indoor, use thier litterbox, quiet. Or a mobile home park in the area where we could buy a place to live? We would not be applying to Buffalo for at least a year from now, but we want to be prepared and start getting ideas of were we could live and have our cats. Getting rid of them is not an option. Thank you. |

Well, it's about a half hour's drive from Buffalo, but lot rent's cheap enough (around $350, well-water included). They allow cats. If you want more information, message me.

There are several apartments in Cheektowaga and all over the city that allow cats. Check artvoice.com or buffalonews.com for listings closer to when you think you will move.

Thank you. Hiya, Non traditional student here. You might want to check out the Buffalo News or apartment finder for apartment rentals. I know that living near campus(west side) is much more expensive and honestly not all that safe, especially if you have children. It honestly peeves me off that owners charge so much in rent just so college kids can be close to school, the rent they charge really isnt' worth it in that neighborhood. North Buffalo has nice and Big apartments, Lovejoy is nice-quiet and safe, South Buffalo and Cheektawaga aren't all that bad~all are with 15-30 min drives. Depending what you can afford I can direct you in the right area. I know Cheektawaga and Niagara Falls/Wheatfield area has trailer parks. "Do not go where the path may lead
Go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson~ A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort !! Be careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a mans rib; not from his feet to be walked on; not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal, under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. I lived @ 338 Crescent Ave. If you can tolerate a 1 bedroom, all utilities included living environment off of Parkside I'd say it could work. 833-3600, Buffalo Management owned. I had few problems there, although Main St/Central park is close.
I've had much better luck in North Tonawanda, the commute is very tolerable. Major: Computer Information Systems
