I got my schedule today and it says im in functions and modeling 2 instead of Calculus 1. I'm majoring in Chemistry so according to the recommended sequence it will put me a semester behind. Its says on the description for Calculus 1 that instead of a C in precalc you can have 4 years of regents high school mathematics. I took regents algebra, geometry, algebra2/trigonometry, and currently am taking Ap Statistics in my senior year so does that qualify me to take Calc 1 right away? I passed all the classes and regents except the trig regents which im retaking this month. So is there anyway i can be taken out of precalc and put straight into calculus?

If you are a declared major I suggest contacting your faculty advisor and looking at the road map of your major here http://catalog.buffalostate.edu/undergradu...te-programs.htm this link will show you the sequence for your major. If you are undeclared contact us at (716) 878-4000 or advise@buffalostate.edu.
