it's not so much a board game as it is a card game. there's no board. just cards.

1. Laundry here sucks. There's not nearly enough machines for the amount of people it's supposed to serve, and people never retrieve their clothes from the dryer. One load of laundry is like a three hour commitment.

2. Favorite part: meeting people. It's hard to make friends when you commute. Least favorite: the noise. there's always someone keeping you up.

3. I find it slightly annoying all the food is in the union. it gets really crowded and i don't really want to walk there half the time. the hours do suck. it's like they want you starve all weekend. and if you dont like taco bell, you're out of luck.

4. The ease of making friends really depends on your personality. I'm really shy so it's really hard for me.

5. My only beef with the clubs is that i feel like i'm not really in the club. there's a group of officers who basically stand there and tell the group members what you're doing that semester. i don't know if all the clubs are like that, but the ones i was interested in ended up being like that. i'd like to be in a club, and actually involved in club activities, not sitting there like i'm in class and given orders.

I suggest laptop. It'll save you some deskspace.
shower caddy=bucket with holes.
you could bring both if you want though.
i just don't like leaving my stuff in the bathroom, just because there's always someone who has no respect for other people's property.

I'd say Perry, just because it's so close to the student union. I know when i'm freezing my ass off, and I'm walking past perry to the union, i'm wishing i lived in there.

I'm not an art history major or anything, but I took an entire year of art history, prehistoric - present.
i loved it. absolutely loved it.
a lot of people hate it.
but i think you have to really love art and everything about it to really appreciate art history.

I love apples2apples!!!
I'm always down for anything.
Sometimes I drink, but I've always preferred to think in my own mind instead of a chemically altered one.
my aim is kklilveggies.

I'm looking to start a new group on campus. Something along the lines of a women's student union. I haven't noticed any groups like this on campus, but please let me know if there are. I'm trying to get a general consensus of interested people and possible members. I'd like to get a sort of brainstorming group going. The objectives of the group would be things like creating awareness of such issues like domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, reproductive rights, gender discrimination, etc. I'm also interested in starting activities like the t-shirt project, take back the night, v-day.

If you're interested, please email me at palmke19@mail.buffalostate.edu

What are your odds of actually getting a workstudy if you start looking the day of classes?

the way i see it, all dorms are the same. your experience in your dorm is completely dependant on your attitude and how willing you are to interact with new people.

perhaps when you reach beyond 100 level classes you'll feel more challenged, but how hard did you expect survey courses to be.

i'll be your friend. i'm also socially awkward and hate when people say, strike up conversation, cuz seriously, you do and people just walk away. it's especially difficult when you find you have nothing to say to people you don't know.

and its comforting knowing i'm not the only one who has no friends, although my suitemates have started talking me, which makes living less depressing.
