I have a 3.4 gpa and i am applying as a transfer student... also for my first semester of college i got 4 A's and 2 B's as my final grades. What are my chances of getting in? smile.gif

probably very good. i'm in high school and just got accepted and your GPA is about the same as mine.
also, your grades sound really good so you probably won't have much trouble at all.

Sounds like you are in good shape! I think it is often easier to get accepted as a transfer anyway.

thanks and am all psyched about the decision because buffalo is my first choice and i'm excited about the whole college experience and the feeling of being independent smile.gif Thanks for your well wishes btw biggrin.gif

Could you enlighten me on what sports are offered by Buffalo State? and extra curricular activities?

Hey everyone! First off, congratulations on your acceptance! I hope you are all excited to start the next step of your lives. You will have a great experience here and you should be proud to represent Buffalo State in just a few months! I don't know what information you have received just yet, but please save the date for the Fall 2011 Orientation for Transfer and First Year Students. If you are a first year student, your orientation will be: Tuesday August 23 - Friday August 26, 2011 and if you are a transfer student, your orientation will be Friday August 26, 2011. Orientation is MANDATORY program for all incoming students! :-)

More details about both of these programs will be available on March 25, 2011 so don't forget to check back on the orientation website which can be found here:
