Let along killing illidan, I want to just play what I payed for right before I came back. Their must be something that can be done. I mean their is no reason why it cant run it takes almost no bandwidth ... hopefully someone from the resnet staff is competent enough to just change it back to the way it was last semester. I mean this kind of action taken with no warnings whatsoever then no disclosure even after the fact. pretty tragic |

Playing Halo 2/3 over the LAN network takes up just as much space which in turn creates less bandwidth for other users. Oh well, the Resnet staff are pathetic I guess. They don't reply to our e-mails, but they sit there and print them out and read them all, I know I saw it. Oh and some information has reached me that apparently you can Play WoW no problem at the library. Which means they CAN fix it easily, but chose not to. |

It's weird, when I'm on the internet, and I download somthing, I usually have a download speed at around 350kb/s.
But as soon as I try to play a game, it's like the connection immediatly turns into a stoneage piece of crap. |

It seems as if something got fixed or straightened out. Latency dropped from nearly 10,000 a few days ago to less than 200 today.

Ugh, I hate this system.
I had to go through and manually download updates and find the ones that Cisco wanted me to have that were not automatic updates... Bleh. But its working now. *cheesy thumbs up* |

Im assuming you're using your own computer and not a school computer as well, because you will not be able to put it on a school computer. I have been trying for the six weeks i have been here and have not been successful with any internet activity other then loading web pages, so much for guarenteed comfortable living. |

"......a high-speed Internet connection for you to use to do research, register for courses, and communicate with faculty, family, and friends." Have you read the thread? this has been an issue for over two years, and throughout the pages there's proof of problems occurring and then fixes to them where they successfully did "play games". |

For the first couple months of this semester WoW worked fine for me then it just suddenly stopped. I went to grc.com to scan the port it uses (3724) and it said it's closed. I payed for a year of game time in May I'd like to use what I payed for.
