Fee for Graduation/December 2012 Graduate Options

Hi, I noticed the student announcement regarding us submitting a form to the Registrar in order to graduate in December.

Is there a fee that is required along with this form? Is there a ceremony for December graduates or do we walk across the state with May 2013 graduates? If our commencement is in May, would there be a graduate fair for us so we can order cap and gown, etc?

When exactly would we receive our diplomas?

There is no fee for applying for graduation. Unfortunately the school only does a ceremony once a year, in may, so if you wanted to walk during the ceremony, you would have to come back in may. Cap and gowns are usually sold starting in mid April, if you are not in buffalo at the time, i believe you can mail in an order form for your cap and gown. Diploma's are received after you degree has been conferred. When I graduated in December I did not receive my degree until early February. Just count on it taking about 6-8 weeks.
