Hi! I am an undergraduate that is registered for the Freshman year, so this is kinda new to me.

Currently, I have 10,000 in loans and 5,000 in grants and (as you know) tuition is 27,000. So I am 7,000 short. Is there a program where I receive/take out those loans or do I have to look for them myself?

Thank you! And I'm not sure if my question is clear so just ask. =/

Are you getting a different tuition bill than I am? I think I'm paying 2.4k a semester or so. I don't know where you're getting 27k from, unless thats everything added up, including cost of living. But that still seems a bit far-fetched. I would reccomend calling the financial aid office at (716) 878-4902. They should be able to help you out. Good luck :-)

Please email the office with your question. This is not a secure forum and your question is specific to you.

Thank you,

i think you are confusing your estimated cost of attendance with your actual one. Financial aid will estimate how much money you need from aid by adding in tuition, cost of living, transportation, books, etc. They take your estimated cost of attendance, subtract the amount the believe you can contribute based off your fafsa, then they have your estimated costs. They use this number to award you finanical aid money. As an incoming freshman, living on campus and with a meal plan you should pay about 8k a semester. If you go into banner, click financial aid, click award, select 2010-2011, and click account summer by term, you should see what your bill for the semester is
