Hi, if anyone could help me and answer my question that would be great. I'm an incoming freshman this fall and I'm dorming (obviously) and I sent in my dorming papers that came with my acceptance letter but I haven't gotten any new mail in my mailbox about a roomate or even a housing fee that I need to pay. I sent it in before June 1 and nothing said anything about a housing fee and I'm just wondering that because I didn't pay any fee to dorm that I possibly I won't be getting a dorm room? Thanks in advance.

In the housing packet it should have said (near the top i believe) to send in a $200 deposit with the housing packet you filled out. The packet they send out about which dorm room/roommates hasn't been sent out yet. If I were you, I'd just call, see if they received your packet, they might be waiting on the deposit to place you in a room.

i tried to use this but it just said that my info was invalid. has anyone given this a shot?

I get the same thing too.. I just assume they havent updated it yet.. Good to know someone else is getting the invalid thing too.

I thought it said it on the page but I guess not, I don't quite remember exactly but for some reason I want to say that they update it the second week of July.

I was up at the college a few weeks ago and asked the office up there about my status. They said there would not be finalized information until mid July.

I also got the same thing, I've tried numerous times. I just want to know who my roomate is so I can discuss the living situation.
My friend said I was supposed to get a survey-type thing asking me questions about myself and who my "ideal roomate" would be.
However...I never got one in the mail or anything..And I've already paid my deposit.

There is no survey for your "ideal roommate". There isn't much rhyme or reason to who you live with.

I made a phone call to res life today asking about my roommate status and i was told it will be posted the first week of August and move in date for Trnasfer students is the 25 of August.
