The United Students Government Future Leader Award is to recognize Buffalo State College Students who have a positive impact on campus and who demonstrate the campus objective of diversity of thought, experience, and values. The United Students Government represents the interests of the College students and encourages their active participation in the campus community. We are looking for strong candidates who have shown leadership skills at Buffalo State College and also throughout the Buffalo Community. Since establishment in 1971, USG has produced many great leaders and representatives for the students at Buffalo State College. USG recognizes the students who have worked hard and who are dedicated to Student Leadership at Buffalo State College.


Eligibility:

*Full-time Buffalo State College undergraduate *Minimum overall GPA of 2.5 *Sophomore to Senior status *Strong Leadership Experience *Community Service *Officers of USG (Executive Board, Judicial Council, Senators and Students-at-Large) and students employed by USG (including Copy Room, Press Services, Dental Clinic, and Game Room) are NOT eligible for this award.


Applications can be picked up in the USG Office (Union 402) or downloaded as a PDF from the link below. The completed application with all attachments is due by 4PM on Friday, April 22, 2011.
